Alec Bradley Fine & Rare

Greetings, avid aficionados of Alec Bradley. Today marks the official arrival of Alec Bradley’s newest cigar called the Fine & Rare. Only 1,111 boxes were made and only the 10 best shops in each territory have been allocated this cigar. Habana Port is proud to carry this limited blend. But hurry in as it won’t last long. Each box contains 10 sticks and the dimensions are 6 inches by a 52 rg. The blend is composed of 10 different tobacco leaves. In order to escape the Summer heat, we are taking a break with cigar events until September when we will feature the recently crowned Top 25 cigar, Brick House, and where you will have a chance to earn some savings that day on their cigars.

Birthday Wishes from Google

Greetings, lovers of lanceros. We were updating our Google account today and noticed that when we signed in and went to Google’s homepage, we saw this image wishing us a happy birthday. April 5, 2010, marks Habana Port, LLC‘s incorporation date although we first opened our doors for business on August 27, 2010. We thought it was cool and thought you should know that if you have a Google account and list your birthdate, Google will post this image when you log in on your birthday. Sweet.

So here’s to our first official birthday (as far as the state of Louisiana and Google are concerned) and hoping we see many more.

Los Blancos Event

Greetings, supporters of slim panatelas. Check out our YouTube video we published of last week’s Los Blancos Cigar Co. in-store event. He discusses his lines of cigars and the benefits of joining the Cigar Rights of America (CRA). It was a fantastic night and our fans are already anxiously awaiting for our next in-store event. Stay tuned to our blog or register your email on the right-hand side of our blog so you can stay informed of the latest Habana Port news and event announcements.

Please consider joining CRA as this a great lobbying group for cigar smokers and individuals who value their personal freedoms. As you know there are intolerant groups that are always trying to ban a legal product (which is not adverse) or to unjustly tax us to death. Every membership in the CRA helps in their and our fight!

We would also like to thank David and his family for assisting with our event and we can’t wait until he stops by next time.

Bayou 95.7 FM’s Bash & Boil

Greetings, rockers of robustos. On Saturday night April 2, 2011, Bayou 95.7 FM will throw an incredible classic rock concert at South Port Music Hall in New Orleans, LA (click here for map) and have a big crawfish boil!
The event is called The Bayou Bash & Boil and will feature bands like The Kyle Turley Band, the Morning Life, 5 Finger Discount and Pig Pen & the Pork Chops. New Orleans legends and Bayou Morning Show stars Walton & Johnson will make a guest appearance for their fans, too! Doors open at 5 PM and the admission fee is only $9.57. And guess what? Habana Port will be the official cigar sponsor of this fantastic event! We’ll be selling cigars and unveiling our newest T-shirt and ad campaign.
So make the trek to the South Shore and join us at our booth as we sell cigars and promote our shop. If you can’t make it, though, check out our Twitter feed as we tweet from the event that night! Pictures and details of the event will be posted here after the concert and crawfish boil. And be sure to listen to 95.7 FM for our current radio spots.
